At Urban Goddess, we believe that every step matters — from how our fabrics are made to how your order is delivered. We know that fashion has an impact, but we also see it as an opportunity: a chance to make that impact positive.
That's why we take responsibility. We measure, improve, and innovate — every single day.
100% CO₂-neutral production
We've been working for years to reduce our ecological footprint. One of our biggest milestones came in 2021 when our production partner fully switched to solar energy. Since then, the CO₂ emissions from our clothing production have dropped by an impressive 97.5%.
At the end of 2023, we reached a beautiful goal: full CO₂-neutral production. And we’re not stopping there — by 2024, we aim to become CO₂-negative.
At our production facility in Turkey, more than 280,000 kWh of solar energy is generated every year — more than the facility actually uses. The excess energy is fed back into the local grid, saving around 538 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually.
Reducing CO₂ beyond the factory
For us, sustainability doesn't end at production. Everything beyond that — from transportation to delivery — is also part of our responsibility.
We consciously choose:
- Sustainable delivery partners that offer CO₂ compensation or electric shipping
- Smarter returns and clearer size guides to minimize unnecessary returns
Together, we reduce the carbon footprint of every single product — from the factory floor to your yoga mat.
Less water, more awareness
Did you know that producing one Urban Goddess item uses about 1,000 liters of water? That might sound like a lot, but it's actually half of what’s needed for a comparable non-organic product.
The difference lies in our certified organic materials and our choice to avoid chemical, water-intensive processes. Even the things you don't see make a difference.
