What is Prana?

This tye die yoga top is inspired by the word prana which is also known as the juice of life. Similar to the concept of Chi in the Chinese tradition, prana refers to life energy flowing throughout your body. In Hinduism, prana, also translated as the breath of life, is even personified. Prana is the name of one of the five gods of the wind. Practices such as yoga, meditation and breathing exercises can clear prana blockages and make you feel energized again. That’s why breathing techniques are called pranayama.
