The meaning of OM

OM is a sound often used as a chant. OM actually consists of a few sounds A – U – M. These sounds represent the circle of life. The creation with A, the fullness or flowering with U and the transformation into something new with M. By chanting OM you acknowledge this cycle and bring your consciousness in touch with your infinite self. A beautiful practice, for example, is the OMKAR meditation. This is a longer time OM chanting 10 – 30 min for example.
