Dakini organic yoga pants – Lagoon

Our Dakini organic yoga pants are super comfortable, have a relaxed fit and are made of our signature super soft organic cotton. Once you’ve got it on, you never want to take it off. This modern version of the Aladdin pants, has a soft band on the belly and hips with small pleats on the side. This band not only supports the belly region, but is also very flattering. The legs of the Dakini yoga pants are nice and wide and come together again in a nice slim but high ankle cuff. So even if you’re upside down in your yoga poses, your trousers will still be comfortable.

These are the perfect organic yoga pants for those days when you don’t want to wear leggings, or for those yoginis who prefer loose-fitting clothes anyway. Either way, the Dakini yoga pants are a great addition to your yoga wardrobe. Off the mat, they are great for lounging around at home. We love it!

What is Dakini?

Our Dakini yoga pants are an ode to the Dakini, a female messenger of wisdom. The Tibetan word for Dakini, khandro, means ‘celestialist’ or ‘space dancer’. This tells us that these enlightened female goddesses transcend the boundaries of matter and play and dance in the space of infinity. Dakinis are a light, subtle, spiritual energy, the key to the state of enlightenment where boundaries and rules no longer apply. The Dakini may be a little difficult to articulate, but she is an aspect and energy present within you. See if you can find her, dance, play and feel her in all layers of your being and the world.
