Yoga Leggings Gaia – Off Black

The high-waist yoga leggings Gaia are the ideal pants for most yoga styles. The high waistband will prevent the leggings from sliding down, so you can focus all your energy on your yoga practice. The soft fabric is made from certified organic cotton. This lets the leggings stretch with you, and lets your skin breathe. We use a special cold dye process to create this cool stonewash effect, a colour that we call Off Black. When you first unpack these leggings, they might have a bit of a smell. This is not dangerous at all and will fade quickly.

Just like the rest of Urban Goddess leggings, the Gaia leggings are extra long. The perfect choice for long-legged yoginis. But if you’re petite, you can still enjoy the ultimate comfort of these leggings. Simply pull the fabric over your feet during meditation or Savasana. This will keep you warm and cosy, so you can get the most out of your session.

What is Gaia?

Our high-waist yoga leggings are inspired by Gaia, the goddess of earth and nature. She is also referred to as Soul of the Earth, or Mother Earth. We love this image. While our connection with her might be a little less obvious these days, especially in urban settings, Gaia is still important for many yogis. Through yoga and meditation, we can strengthen our bond with her and celebrate her at the same time. Let Gaia be your daily reminder to be thankful for and kind to Mother Earth.

Important care instruction for the Yoga Leggings Gaia – Off Black

As you may have experienced with jeans, these yoga leggings can rub off when you first wash them. This is caused by the Stone Wash technique that is used for a stylish fade and soft, flexible fabric. Therefore, always wash your Gaia yoga leggings before wearing them. Wash them separately or with similar colours. After the first wash, your leggings won’t rub off any more, and you are good to go!
