What is Dakini?

Our Dakini yoga pants are an ode to the Dakini, a female messenger of wisdom. The Tibetan word for Dakini, Khandro, means ‘celestialist’ or ‘space dancer’. This tells us that these enlightened female goddesses transcend the boundaries of matter and play and dance in the space of infinity.

Dakinis are a light, subtle, spiritual energy, the key to the state of enlightenment where boundaries and rules no longer apply. The Dakini may be a little difficult to articulate, but she is an aspect and energy present within you. See if you can find her, dance, play and feel her in all layers of your being and the world.
