Goddess of the Month: Esther Ekhart
Urban Goddess yoga wear is made by yogis for yogis. The yoga community is a wonderful mix of beautiful souls who do their best to spread love and light, through their practice and their classes. Each month, we shine a little extra light on another yoga teacher and let her share her own journey. You might just find your new favorite teacher! This time, our Goddess of the Month is the owner and founder of EkhartYoga, Esther Ekhart.
Goddess of the Month: Esther Ekhart
First and foremost, Esther is a yoga and meditation teacher. She loves teaching more dynamic styles like Hatha or Vinyasa Flow, focusing on strength, stability and fitness. She combines those classes with slower Yin yoga and meditation to allow herself to really slow down and listen. In 2012, Esther started her very own platform Ekhartyoga.com where she and her team of yoga teachers offer high quality online yoga and meditation videos. Practice anywhere, anytime. By now, Ekhartyoga.com has become a global community of yogis, with thousands of individuals practicing yoga all over the world. You can even practice with the founder of Urban Goddess herself, Marlene Smits. 🙂
Esther’s yoga journey
Esther has always loved the stillness and would regularly find a quiet place to sit and just feel, even as a child. Her mother, a yoga teacher and therapist herself, would emerge from her yoga practice a more relaxed and loving person. Esther got curious and followed in her mother’s footsteps. Her background as a therapist and her own spiritual studies (including the Clarity Process) make great tools that Esther brings into all her teachings.

Esther aims to enable her students to see past their old stories, freeing them up to experience the truth – the moment as it is now. She loves to support people in deepening their connection with themselves, others and the world around them.
